Imagine if you didn't have reliable transport to get to work, access your doctor or simply buy what you need from the shop? Also imagine if someone generously gave you a car - how would you feel?

On Tuesday, 17 March 2020, Cheap Cars Toowoomba donated their seventh second-hand car to a Toowoomba local.  The recipient wore a smile that stretched from ear to ear and it was easy to tell what this gift meant to her.  The 1991 Toyota Camry will greatly improve her ability to travel to and from work and access services.

Les Hollist, ManagerCheap Cars Toowoomba, once again worked closely with Lifeline Darling Downs Chief Executive Officer Derek Tuffield to identify a suitable benefactor for this very generous gift.

“We at Cheap Cars Toowoomba are delighted to be able to give back to the community that supports us and it gives me great pleasure to be able to donate this vehicle and make life a little easier for this young lady, Mr Hollist said.

For 45 years Lifeline Darling Downs has been dedicated to strengthening communities and empowering people to live their best life. We're proud to partner with companies like Cheap Cars Toowoomba who want to make a difference, not just a profit.

“It is an absolute honour to work with Les and the team at Cheap Cars Toowoomba who time and time again show their generosity to our community.  With today being St Patrick’s Day I am sure that our lucky recipient will feel like she has the luck of the Irish on her side.  It is wonderful to be part of such a fantastic initiative”, said Derek Tuffield OAM.

Cheap Cars Toowoomba stock an extensive range of over 100 makes and models priced from as low as $2,999 to $9,999 making their cars affordable to just about any used car shopper. They are located at 144 James Street, Toowoomba.
