Suicide is the leading cause of death for Australians aged between 15 and 44.

Lifeline Darling Downs is committed to a whole-of-community approach to preventing suicide and we know one of the best ways to address this is through collaborative action. We regularly work with other organisations to reduce the stigma of suicide and build awareness of the crisis supports available for those at risk of or affected by suicide.

CS Energy who operate the Kogan Creek Power Station (based at Brigalow on the Western Downs between Dalby and Chinchilla) presented Lifeline Darling Downs with a cheque for $10,000 to support our suicide prevention services on 21 February 2020.

“Each year CS Energy makes a number of philanthropic donations in addition to our community sponsorships program. We decided to donate to Lifeline Darling Downs because CS Energy understands how conversations can change lives when it comes to preventing suicide.”

CS Energy Chief Executive Officer Andrew Bills

We're grateful to CS Energy for their donation to our suicide prevention work and thankful to partner with companies like CS Energy that hold a strong commitment to championing good mental health and well being.

If you'd like to help make a difference in thousands of lives across south west Queensland, consider partnering with Lifeline Darling Downs so together we can help change the story for ordinary Australians who need a little support.
