  • Safe Connections Toowoomba

Safe Connections Toowoomba

Self – acceptance and connection to others is vital for those of us who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Asexual and Brotherboy or Sistergirl (LGBTQIA+). We understand that feeling safe and supported requires professionals that are knowledgeable about who we are and the communities we live in.

At Safe Connections Toowoomba, we work with LGBTQIA+ or Brotherboy or Sistergirl people who are experiencing/or have experienced domestic and family violence.

Safe Connections Toowoomba provides specialist staff who understand LGBTQIA+ or Brotherboy or Sistergirl relationships. Our staff are committed to working with individuals, families, service providers and the wider community to ensure LGBTQIA+ people feel safe.

For more information or to make an appointment please call 1300 991 443.

You can also submit a referral to the program.

This service is offered in Toowoomba.

This program is funded by the Department of Social Services.

Lifeline Darling Downs also offers the Safe Connections program which supports people living in South West Queensland who are affected by domestic and family violence.
