Many aspects of our everyday lives have been significantly affected by the COVID-19 crisis.  Because of the changes to our work and leisure activities, we are now spending more time at home than ever.

Extra time at home may provide the perfect opportunity to clear out the cupboards and get rid of those unwanted clothes and household items that you keep meaning to dispose of.

Although the response to COVID-19 has resulted in us temporarily closing our retail stores, we are still receiving and processing donations.

Our Distribution Centre, located at 192A Stephen Street, Toowoomba, remains open to receive donations.  The Distribution Centre is currently open from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to accept items such as furniture, household items, clothing and toys.

However, there are certain items that we are unable to accept and you will find these listed here.

All donations we receive at Lifeline Darling Downs are used to assist those in need or are sold through one of our retail shops. The funds raised from our retail shops support our suicide prevention, counselling and community services which are delivered to the community free of charge.

We request that everyone please adhere to the government issued social distancing guidelines and we encourage you, where possible, to drop your donations to our Distribution Centre at 192A Stephen Street, Toowoomba or to your closest Lifeline Darling Downs donation bin.

Please do not leave your donations outside our closed stores or on the ground beside our donation bins as these items create litter and are unable to be used.

We also ask that you only donate goods that are in reasonable condition as costs incurred from dumping waste reduce our ability to provide our crisis support services. Please only donate items you would give to a friend.
