Recycling your used containers is good for the environment, good for your pocket and great for the community. It has never been easier to make your donation matter.

Now, you can now save the scheme ID of a charity, community group or someone you know to your Containers for Change QLD app. 

You can add up to five additional scheme IDs to your scheme ID board on the Containers for Change app by following these simple steps:

1. Open the app and select ‘Scheme ID’ in the bottom menu bar to visit your board,
2. Select ‘Add’ in the top right corner,
3. Use the ‘Search for a charity’ function to search the name of your favourite charity or group or surf our list of charity categories OR use the ‘Add a scheme ID’ function to type in the scheme ID of your friend or relative.

To make an ID your favourite, visit your scheme ID board and select the love heart in the top left corner of the card.

When visiting a container refund point, pull out your scheme ID board and use one of your saved IDs to donate to the cause of your choice.

If you’re manually entering the scheme ID of someone you know, be sure to double-check you’ve entered the correct ID. Please also note that any donations will not appear in your own transaction history.
