For 22 years Guardian Pharmacies have been supporting their communities through the Knitting for Good program where their Guardian Angels, selflessly give time, effort and talent to create and donate masterpieces to those in need.

We are pleased to have been chosen by the team at Oakey Community Pharmacy as the recipient for all of the donated items that will be collected in 2020. All of the items donated through the pharmacy will support Lifeline Darling Down's Share the Warmth appeal and provide assistance to those doing it tough right across south west Queensland this winter.

"We're thrilled to partner with a local business to help make a difference to those who need it" - Derek Tuffield OAM

Our recent trip to Oakey will be the first of many as more and more items are donated by the talented and creative people who have laboured to make them. Every item received will be passed on to those who are experiencing some kind of hardship this winter, making a significant difference to those in need.

We're pleased to play our part in helping those who face homelessness and disadvantage across our region experience a little bit of compassion and kindness during a difficult time.

Thank you to the team at Oakey Community Pharmacy and all of the incredible locals who are supporting this initiative.
