Domestic and family violence occurs when someone in a close personal relationship makes you feel afraid, controlled, powerless or unsafe. It can include physical, psychological, financial, sexual or coercive forms of abuse.
The Safe Connections programs provides counselling, support, information and advocacy for women and children impacted by domestic and family violence. We offer a safe and confidential space to help individuals understand their options, strengthen safety planning, and access the support they need.
For further information or to make an appointment, please call 1300 991 443.
This program is funded by the Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety.
Centre-based and outreach services are available in Roma, St George, Charleville and Cunnamulla.
