Lifeline has been selected as one of the national beneficiaries of this year’s Push-Up Challenge, a campaign designed to shine the light on mental health in a fun and unique way.

Running throughout June, participants are asked to do 3,249 push-ups, 3,249 being the number of lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2022, whilst at the same time raising funds.

Open to all ages and all abilities, participants can aim for 50% or 100% of the daily push-up target and other exercise alternatives are welcome including sit-ups, squats or tailored exercise.

You can sign up solo or create a team with your friends, family, or co-workers and push-up together, each aiming for as many of the 3,249 push-ups as they feel comfortable with.

We would love you to get involved in this great initiative either as a participant or you may like to make a donation.  All funds raised locally, stay local ensuring Lifeline’s critical crisis support and suicide prevention services are available to anyone who needs them.

Please join us as we push for an Australia free of suicide.
