Darryl Bates Darryl holds professional qualifications and a Masters in Community Development work and has over 20 years’ experience in local government youth and community work. He has previously served on state youth sector peak bodies and local community management committees and was a past member of the Ministerial Community Forum for Darling Downs & South West Queensland. Darryl currently manages the Community Development section for Toowoomba Regional Council and brings extensive knowledge of government and not for profit community services sector within Toowoomba and the South West region. His specific interest areas include youth engagement, community resilience and rural community development. Darryl joined the Board in April 2018.
