Personal Helpers and Mentors Service (PHaMS)

PHaMS is a program which uses a recovery approach to support people living with a serious mental illness. Workers focus on participants’ strengths and interests, recognising that people with a mental illness can live a satisfying life.

Support is provided where people live and often in their own home. PHaMS is funded to work in the Southern Downs communities (Warwick, Stanthorpe, Goondiwindi, Texas and Inglewood).

Please note this program is currently not taking any new participants.

This program is funded by the Department of Social Services.
