Partners in Recovery (PIR) is a mental health program that operates across the region and provides support to people experiencing serious and long term mental illness.
Many people have complex needs requiring a coordinated response from a range of sectors – including health, housing, income support, disability, education and employment.
A Support Facilitator can work with the person and their family to ensure that all the services that they come into contact with are working together, and that their recovery journey is well supported.
PIR will work across the whole of the Darling Downs and South West Queensland, with Support Facilitators in 9 different locations (currently Toowoomba, Dalby, Murgon, Kingaroy, Charleville, Roma, St George, Warwick and Goondiwindi) who are able to be connected to a person anywhere in the region.
Phoning Lifeline on 1300 991 443 is the first step in accessing this kind of support.
