Telephone Counselling
Counsellors don't have magic wands. They can't fix problems instantly... What they can do is talk with you, to assist you in understanding the issues you face, so you may be more empowered to make the changes you want in your life.
Many problems seem impossible to overcome. If you are distressed and not sure what to do next, give Lifeline a call. It will only cost the price of a local call. Counsellors are chosen for their personal qualities and experience of life and undertake an extensive training course. They do not preach or judge. They are there to help when you need it most. You may talk to Lifeline counsellors about issues including:
- Family Issues
- Personal Matters
- Relationships
- Loneliness
- Family Violence
- Addictions
- Abuse Issues
If we can't help we may be able to refer you to someone who can.
