We currently operate 22 major services ranging from Emergency Relief to Family Therapy Counselling, from Community Development to Family Intervention Programs, from Gambling Help Toowoomba and South West to Youth Development. Stress Down on 24/7: - National Fundraising Activity:The National Board has approved a concept for the national fundraising campaign in 2008 called “Stress Down on 24/7” a theme which will be used to promote self-care and seeking support, with a national request for donations to Lifeline’s 24/7 Telephone Counselling Service. Funds raised through this campaign will be distributed to Lifeline Australia to create a sustainability fund for the 13-11-14 phone and operating costs, and to Lifeline Centres to support the operation of the telephone counselling at a local level.

Volunteers

 

Volunteers are an essential part of the Lifeline Family. Currently we are supported by more than 500 dedicated volunteers. They perform various roles including, Telephone Counselling, Shop Assistants, Distribution Centre workers, Country Clothing Sales and Truck Driving.
